Short Range 3D Laser Scanner
Advanced Simtech use the Artec MH™ 3D Scanner for close range detailed scanning work.
The Artec MH™ 3D hand held Scanner is the most versatile scanner in the Artec range. This scanner is most effective when digitizing medium-sized objects: a face, a torso, a lamp, props or motorcycle exhaust pipe for example.
Short range 3D laser scanners are popular with clients for capturing the human form including faces due to it being completely eye safe. Other uses for out short range scanners include automotive components and also generating images for rapid prototyping.
The Artec scanner is also ideal for use in the field of heritage preservation. Due to its size and portability, precious archaeological finds and timeless statues in museums don’t have to be moved or touched to create an accurate 3D record of them.
